Reluctant Sinner: Five new priests for Ordinariate in Westminster today

10 06 2011

Reluctant Sinner writes:

Archbishop Vincent Nichols will ordain five men as priests of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham today. The ordinations will take place during the 5:30pm Sung Mass at Westminster Cathedral. Many men have already been ordained to serve as priests within the Ordinariate, and there remain plans to ordain several more – a full list of future ordinations can been found on the Ordinariate website.

Please keep the five men who are to be ordained in your prayers. They are the Revs Gordon Adam, Peter Andrews, Timothy Bugby, Mark Elliott Smith and Antony Homer. All of them will minister as Ordinariate priests within the territory normally covered by the Diocese of Westminster.

Archbishop Vincent Nichols will be joined by Bishop Alan Hopes, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, as well as diocesan priests from across the Diocese of Westminster and members of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Our Lady of Walsingham, pray for us
