From BBC News Devon:
Six former Church of England (CofE) ministers from Devon and Cornwall are spending their first Sunday as official members of the Roman Catholic Church.
The clergymen were ordained into the Ordinariate by the Bishop of Plymouth on Wednesday.
This was devised in 2009 for Anglicans unhappy at the CofE’s decision to ordain women as bishops.
Three of those being ordained were full-time CofE ministers in Plymouth, Torquay and Charlestown in Cornwall.
Another is a retired former Archdeacon of Plymouth.
