Cardinal-elect Wuerl: Momentum for Ordinariate is coming out of England

In a press conference on the fringes of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops Fall General Assembly (see more here), Cardinal-elect Donald Wuerl, who is the Episcopal Delegate for the implementation of the Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum coetibus of the USCCB, spoke about the emerging Personal Ordinariates:

  • Anglican Use parishes can jump to ordinariate “if bp has no problem with that” — several questions need CDF clarification.
  • “the momentum for this is coming out of England… some from Australia”
